Several well known persons take part in the development of the Inza Performance Cycling Training Software (professional cycling training software). Thanks to this cooperation, Drawbacks are revealed and new improvements are continuously implemented.
Since we found the team in 2008, we developed our experience of using powermeter, as a tool which measure the training intensity. Since that moment our knowledge about taking advantage of data collected by means of powermeters has improved much. Nowadays we are using powermeters in both areas of training: on road and also on MTB. Thanks to Inza Performance Software we can perform analysis of all necessary data from our powermeters. The powermeter is able to record many data but some of them are wasteful when they are not structured aproprietly. Too many wasteful data can only cause a disorder in the objective outlook on your performance.
Clear graphs provided by such software like Inza Performance gives us clear look on our present performance - now we are able to measure the intensities of our past trainings, analysing changes in fitness, or planing peaks in performance during season.
During past seasons while building our performance, we realized that data from a power meters itself, can not be the ultimate tool for building the most efficient training program (we can’t store the data during races or during winter sport for ex. running). These days the systematic laboratory testing is necessary to have sureness that we obtain positive adaptation effects after applying a blocks of training stimulus.
Combination of systematic performance tests, tools like powermeters and appropriate software, provides us nearly 100% control of our fitness level. Our team believe, that continuous performance development can occur only when we build our training programs on regular laboratory tests and appropriate powermeter data analysis by means of Inza Software.
It is not easy to judge the real performance of a road cyclist and its development during the whole season. Not only performance but also luck and the cleverness of the racer play their role and the results sometimes need not necessarily reflect current form.
The wattmeter is an essential aid for evaluation of real performance. However, interpretation of the results presupposes certain knowledge. We cannot do without this knowledge even if we use the Inza Performance Cycling Software.
There are several programs for training evaluation on the market. However, most of them are focused on the evaluation of a single record and do not try to judge the behaviour of performance over a longer period of time. The Inza Software is a pioneer in this respect and comes up with interesting analyses which evaluate performance from a long-term point of view. Of course, it still holds true that deeper knowledge of the problem is necessary to take full advantage of the software. The software is therefore particularly suitable for coaches who are able to judge the fitness and performance of the individual better and adjust further training sessions on the basis of the output data.
The development of the software is in its early stages, but despite this fact, it comes across as very professional to me. The whole system is based on the idea of comparing pulse rate and performance, which is undoubtedly the main advantage of the software and what makes it unique. I am looking forward to further development of the current features, which will further increase the value of this very interesting software. I am also happy to be able to participate in the development and improvement of the unique analyses mentioned above.

Rating: On the basis of my long-term practical experience and professional knowledge of top-level cycling, I rate all 4 suggested analyses as a step in the right direction which brings new added value to management of the cycling training process.
The added value consists in the facts that I can clearly see if the performance of the people I am training in the individual components, comprising the final performance during races, is increasing. To judge the increase in performance, it is necessary to observe the relationship between pulse rate and watt performance. Of course, it is necessary to have sufficient knowledge and practical experience so that these analyses can bring as much benefit as possible.
Furthermore, I positively rate the feature for automatic import of original data from wattmeters. This function makes the work with the given computer programme easy.
Conclusion: Only a wattmeter with a high-quality computer programme can bring a real contribution to the training process!

Current info (Tomas Tichy): a personal appointment and a presentation of the Inza Performance Software took place in mid June 2009, with the result that when Kristian receives his new SRM from Germany (in July) he will use and test the Inza Performance Software information system in his training process.
Current rating (Kristian Hynek): The first meeting and the presentation of the Inza Software surpassed my expectations. I think that the new analyses contained in the Inza Performance Software bring a high added value compared to regular cycling software and in combination with exercise laboratory tests, they provide a perfect picture of each individual’s performance. Another benefit is the versatility of the software, its compatibility with all significant products in this branch (GARMIN, POWERTAP, POLAR and SRM) and its clarity and simplicity for the user.
I am convinced that the Inza Performance Software is capable of becoming the number one on the global market after standard modules such as the training diary (see Polar) are implemented and small glitches are fixed.
Software author (Tomas Tichy): I had the honour of meeting Roman Kreuziger in person during the short history of the Inza Performance Software. The discussion was particularly focused on the training process, Roman shared his experience gained during his career with us and we also discussed the utilisation and monitoring of variables such as pulse rate and watt performance in cycling training.
Thanks to valuable comments from Roman, weight will be implemented in the new analyses in the software. Racers on Roman’s level tune their form by means of red blood cells (alpine training stays) and weight reduction. However, the weight reduction must not occur at the cost of a proportional decrease in the exercised watt performance. After the implementation of weight into the new analyses, it will be possible to monitor the performance development more efficiently and manage the training process with a better quality.
We would hereby like to thank Roman once again for finding time for us in his busy programme. We really appreciate this. Thank you ...

Ratting: My target is a steady improvement in performance and I would like to gradually approach the top cyclists in the world in the Cross Country World Cup as far as results are concerned. Therefore I have to train and especially improve the quality of the overall cycling training process. That is why I am pleased with the possibility of using the Inza Performance Software and participating in the development of new analyses. Inza Performance Software is the very tool which can push me a little further towards the results I have been dreaming of.
Although I have only been using the Power Tap wattmeter for two years, it is only now with the Inza Performance Software that the numbers from the wattmeter are providing true added value. Thanks to the new analyses, I have my development in performance steady under control and I can manage the training stress more precisely and observe whether I am improving in the individual pulse rate zones and in the case of specific training elements.
Conclusion: Only the data from a cycling wattmeter evaluated in the Inza Performance cycling software bring an order and benefit to my training process.
My goal is still to move the performance up. The basis of all is the proper training and the arts of regeneration. After personal meeting with Tomas and introduction of Inza Performance Cycling Software I think, that it is the right step to improve my cycling performance. I have used on mtb bike Polar system and on road bike training Power Tap. I watched my training zones and after training unit I wrote into my training diary. Therefore, I look forward to new season for the first time since 2011 will test the software and compare wattage differences to beats and I will be able to better manage my training process. Other big advatage is universality of software with all reputable products in the field. Inza Performance Cycling Software has rally big future on the global cycling market.

Rating: I have been using a wattmeter since the start of the 2009 season. Before I stared using Powertap during my training sessions, I used the software by Polar for the purpose of training process overview, which, in my opinion, is on a higher level as far as graphics and functions are concerned compared to other information systems, but is missing one important feature – analysis of watts from a different device than Polar. I have tried installing PowerAgent but the data analysis was difficult to read for me and so I rather kept my watt values in my head or on the clock. I have stored several interval training sessions and training camps which I can now compare with a better transparency.
I now store every training session with a wattmeter into the Inza Performance Software and I can compare the watt differences with beats and better manage my training process according to this. I expect that the Inza Performance Software will increase the quality of my performance overview both in preparatory periods and as an picture of my work over the whole season and provide an outline as to whether my training is going in the right direction.
Conclusion: The information system (Inza Performance Software) is currently the best cycling training software for me for comparing the outputs from pulsemeter and wattmeter thanks to its versatility and user-friendliness.

Rating: I have been using a wattmeter and the Inza Performance Software for cyclists since the start of the winter preparation for the 2010 cycling season. I am convinced that the Inza Performance Software also helped me to achieve this year’s results, which are certainly better than in the previous seasons.
Final word: I can undoubtedly recommend the Inza Performance Software to everybody who takes cycling seriously and dutifully.

Every project has its history and the same holds true for the professional Inza Performance Software for cyclists. The primary impulses for starting development of this system was the need to choose a topic for the diploma thesis at the Faculty of Informatics and Management (University of Hradec Kralove) and the effort to improve the personal cycling training process with the aim of increasing fitness and achieving better results in cycling races. Therefore I chose System for evaluation of cycling data as the topic of my diploma thesis.
Besides drawing up the diploma thesis itself, the practical part consisted in creation of the primary system – the software. After I successfully defended my thesis during the final state examination, I was chosen to represent the school in the Diploma thesis of the year 2009 contest in the field of informatics. After making it through to the final round within the framework of the whole Czech Republic I defended my diploma thesis before a board of experts which comprised representatives of important multinational companies such as Hewlett-Packard and T-Systems. The result was a nice 2nd place.
The current version of the Inza Performance Software which you can download and test is the result of my practical efforts over the past few years.
